Our approach
Private by default, shared on purpose
Nobody sees a household unless they've been given access, and then only to the parts they need.
Least-privilege sharing
Access is granted through shares with a role and a scope. Nothing is visible by default.
Isolated by agency
Each agency operates in its own tenant, with its data kept separate from every other agency.
Encrypted on AWS
Hosted on Amazon Web Services, with encrypted database storage and encrypted connections.
Strong sign-in
Two-factor authentication, passwordless codes, and Face ID or Touch ID on iPhone and iPad.
Protected at the edge
A web application firewall with managed rule sets screens traffic before it reaches the app.
Audited
Activity is recorded in audit logs, and infrastructure logs are encrypted.
Access control
- Owner, Editor and Viewer roles on every share
- Shares scoped to areas (Properties, Vehicles, People, Pets, Insurance, Finances, Activity, Documents) or to individual items
- Sensitive fields masked for viewers
- Invitations can be declined, resigned or revoked, and each change is confirmed by email
- Your agency's own access to a household is a share, too
Authentication
- Two-factor authentication
- Passwordless sign-in with one-time email codes
- Face ID and Touch ID in the iOS app
- Self-service password reset
Infrastructure
- Hosted on Amazon Web Services
- Database storage encrypted at rest
- Traffic encrypted in transit with TLS

- Encrypted logs and network flow logging
Your HawkSoft data
- UnifyOS reads from HawkSoft only with your agency's authorization
- Nothing in HawkSoft is edited or deleted
- The only write-back, adding new sign-ups as prospects, is optional
