Digital Twins
Why Financial Apps Fail
In general, pople don’t like numbers. The attractiveness of numbers os not enhanced by putting them in rows and columns. This is the whole theory behind Quicken and so many other finance apps. That somehow people will dive in and look at expenses, and somehow enjoy that. We’ve all used Quicken at one time or another, and we’ve all stopped using it. Other applications have done a much better job, but they are still missing a fundamental truth - People think in terms of things, not transactions. Any application that thinks it can reconstruct a thing from a set of categorized transactions is going about it the wrong way.
Digital Twins
A digital twin is a dynamic, real-time virtual replica of a physical object, system, or entity that continuously synchronizes with its real-world counterpart through live data feeds, accurately reflecting its current state, behavior, and relationships — and can be composed of subordinate twins to model complex hierarchies.
A Model of the Modern Household
This is where the vision for UnifyOS departs from others. The idea of building a detailed and expansive model of the household was not possible when I first envisioned it. The services and APIs were not yet there.
Before you could use that power you would need to become far stronger, and to train your will to the domination of others. Yet even so, as Ring-bearer and as one that has borne it on finger and seen that which is hidden, your sight is grown keener.
